WEDDINGS

Skip to Content Skip to Navigation Home

Planning a wedding?  We will work closely with you to find the perfect musical background for your special day.  We are classically-trained professional musicians with many years of experience performing weddings and other events.  From classical to cajun, traditional strings to Appalachian stringband, country French to French cabaret, our diverse repertoire covers three centuries of music from Europe and North America.  We accept requests to arrange a special piece.  Our selection of elegant dance music from the 18th and 19th centuries will transport you and your guests back in time.

The variety of instruments we play means we can provide many different types of sounds and unique combinations.  If your ceremony and reception are at the same venue, our slightly livelier dance music is the perfect accompaniment for a cocktail hour, as guests mingle before dinner (and the wedding party does a photo shoot).

With D'n'A you get a complete package; we handle all the details so you can relax and enjoy the moment.  We provide our own sound system, shade protection and chairs, and offer unlimited email communication on wedding details.  If you desire the sound of a string trio or quartet, we can bring in additional musicians to our group.

"The music was perfect; it created the right atmosphere
and was exactly what we wanted to hear."

                                                 --Morgan, Sept. 2010

"Your music was beautiful.
You made the beautiful ceremony and landscape even more beautiful."
                                         --Bonnie & Ralph., July 2011
